Employee Performance Appraisal - Rating Levels

Effective Date:  1/1/2017

Substantially Exceeds Performance Requirements

Defined as performance that is considerably and consistently above the job duties and characteristics. This rating occurs infrequently and is achievable by any employee.

Exceeds Performance Requirements

Defined as work that is above the success criteria and goals for the job throughout the rating period.

Meets Performance Requirements

Defined as solid performance that meets the requirements of the job duties.

Needs Improvement

Defined as work that requires improvements in certain areas while other job duties or characteristics may be meeting requirements.

Unsatisfactory

Defined as work that fails to meet the requirements of the job duties.
