Homecoming on the Green ($)

5-8 p.m., Campus Green

Join fellow alumni, students, faculty and staff at the center of campus for a fun, family-friendly event featuring food trucks, music and activities. Play a game of giant Connect4 or Jenga while you enjoy a beverage from Slow Play Brewing, which is owned by three Winthrop alumni, or coffee from Rock Hill’s unique coffee shop Knowledge Perk. Enjoy gelato from Wanderlust Gelato while you watch acts from the Soap Bubble Circus, get your face painted and have your picture taken with the Winthrop wings. The Winthrop Bookstore will be open to purchase Winthrop swag and the West Center will be open for tours. Please note that smoking, including vaping, is only allowed in designated areas of campus. Join us for the Sixth Annual Alumni Toast during Homecoming & Reunion Weekend for the Department of Sociology, Criminology and Anthropology. Share your Eagle pride while networking and reconnecting with Winthrop alumni. Appetizers are complimentary of the Department of Sociology, Criminology and Anthropology. Cash bar will be available. This event will feature comedians, Rip Michales, Burpie and Kelly Kellz from "Wildin' Out". They will literally make you laugh out loud when they bring students on stage to play games from the show to see who's the funniest on campus.
