Please be advised that portions of College, Oakland, and Sumter Avenues will be closed on Saturday morning for the Gobble Wobble 5K Run/Walk and 8K Run hosted by the Junior Welfare League of York County. Please refer to the race route map for road closures.

Tailgating (Sponsored by the Alumni Association)
10 a.m.-4 p.m., South lawn, Winthrop Coliseum
Come out for this Homecoming tradition with alumni, students and community members featuring food, music by DJ Chizzy and a Kids' Zone for children 12 and younger. Full Spectrum Brewing Company, owned by alumnus Charles Bergman '08, will be on site, and the Winthrop Bookstore will have Winthrop gear available for purchase. Visitors must be 21 years or older with a valid state-issued ID to purchase, consume or possess alcohol. The following items are prohibited in tailgating areas: pets of any kind except service animals, RVs, glass containers, household furniture (e.g. sofas, recliners, etc.) and alcohol possessed by any person(s) under the age of 21. Please refer to the university's tailgating policy.

Inaugural Band Alumni Day
10:45-11:45 a.m., Rehearsal (tentative based on pre-game basketball team practice schedules)
3 p.m., Call time
4 p.m., Tipoff for Men's Basketball vs. Central Penn College
The alumni band is open to all instruments. Band members must provide instruments (and lyre if possible). Sheet music will be available. Lunch and a complimentary spirit squad T-shirt will be provided to participating alumni. E-mail Dr. Doug Presley, associate director of bands and associate professor of music, with your name, graduating class year, instrument type and T-shirt size by Monday, Nov. 13, to reserve your spot.

Please join the Winthrop Alumni Association as it honors the 2017 Alumni Award winners, celebrates the Golden Girls from the Class of 1967 and recognizes all classes ending in '2 and '7 that are observing reunions. Register online to attend the luncheon as part of your class reunion or to purchase guest tickets.
