Being involved in fraternity and sorority life, there are many leadership opportunities available. There are those positions within each chapter, but then also opportunities on a council level, and within other Greek-related organizations such as Order of Omega, Fraternal Conduct Board, and Greek Weekend Committee.

The Association of Fraternal Value and Leadership (AFLV) sponsors this annual conference. The conference includes joint workshops and presentations addresses specific issues facing the many councils within our fraternal communities. Programming allows students to address issues like risk management, intake, intra-council relationships, and liability issues. It allows fraternity/sorority leaders to collaborate and learn information on a range of topics that these organizations deal with. During, this conference, fraternity and sorority leaders also get to enjoy the opportunity of meeting fellow brothers and sisters from chapters across the country. This three-day conference is attended each year by members of each council (CPC, IFC, and NPHC) that apply and are selected to attend.
