Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs

National Pan-Hellenic Council

National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) is the governing body of the historically African-American fraternities and sororities and is responsible for setting standards and policy for the chapters at Winthrop University. Members of the council consist of seven executive board members and one delegate from each of the seven organizations. The council provides programming, fellowship, and information to the members of NPHC through educational programs, round tables, and forums. They are also responsible for NPHC Unwritten Rules.

  • Unwritten Rules - September 2nd 9 p.m. Richardson Ballroom (Anyone interested in joining a NPHC organization MUST attend the semester they are planning to join. Please bring Winthrop ID.) 
  • Homecoming Step Show - Saturday, November 15th at 8:00 p.m. (doors open at 7:00 p.m.) Byrnes Auditorium 
  • Unwritten Rules - January 20, 2016 at 9 p.m. Richardson Ballroom (Anyone interested in joining a NPHC organization MUST attend the semester they are planning to join. Please bring Winthrop ID.)

 

Meetings

  • NPHC Council Meetings are Friday's at 3:00 PM in the DiGiorgio Campus Center Room 223.
