Provides merit-based awards in the amount of $500 to eligible individuals in an effort to recognize and support advancements in mindfulness research and practice
Research Award -- made available to a doctoral student or junior researcher (within 2 years of terminal degree) who shows substantial promise for future impactful research. The basis for evaluation of a candidate is a single peer-reviewed publication supported by a mentor's letter of recommendation. The candidate must be the first author and the article needs to have been published or accepted within the last 12 months.
Practice Award is made available to dedicated individuals who are early in their careers and training as mindfulness teachers, and who plan on developing a career path as a mindfulness teacher. Funds are intended to be used to further develop mindfulness teacher training and/or increase the reach of their teaching efforts to diverse populations. Applicants must be affiliated with a mindfulness training program (examples: Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, or related formalized training program) or a mindfulness meditation center that has a formal teaching program.

Diversity and Inclusiveness Funding (~$10,000-$20,000)
- Funds projects aiming to increase the presence and participation of women, racial and ethnic minorities, LGBTQ people, people with disabilities, people of low socioeconomic status, and other underrepresented groups in philosophy
Small Grant Fund: grants of normally no more than $5,000 each for projects and initiatives beneficial to the philosophical community
Deadline: June 30 annually
Must be a member to apply

Supports organizations that are reshaping their fields by applying and disseminating transformative Buddhist meditation principles and practices
Letter of Inquiry required which may lead to invitation for formal grant request
