- The Creating Opportunity & Independence (CO&I) portfolio supports organizations that
provide services and develop innovative projects. The goal of this portfolio is to
enhance the quality of life for individuals and their families living with spinal
cord injury. Areas of focus include: assistive technology, education, employment,
independent living, rehabilitation, and arts, sports and recreation.
- Project Grants - one-year Project Grants support services and projects benefiting
participants with spinal cord injury, including purchase of essential programmatic
equipment.

Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation
- The Direct Effect (Tier 1) is open-focused and will award grants of up to $15,000
to support a wide range of projects and activities. Grants will fund specific budget
items that will clearly impact individuals living with paralysis and their families,
and the project must be completed within 12 months.
- High Impact Quality of Life Grant Tier 2 are $30,000 for transportation, respite/caregiving,
and disaster response. Grants focus on a High Priority issue for the community of
individuals living with paralysis and their families.
- Letter of Intent required. Applications are by invitation only.

Enterline Foundation
- Supports organizations that provide services for the intellectually and developmentally
disabled
- Focuses primarily on individuals over the age of 22, although requests from organizations
focused on children will be considered
- Supports requests for specific projects as opposed to general operating expenses
- Letter of Intent required. Organizations selected in the Letter of Intent process
will receive a full grant packet to complete and submit. Due October 1st.

People with Disabilities Foundation
- Supports work to integrate people with psychiatric and/or developmental disabilities
into the whole of society
- Grants may be used for a specific program, project, or general operating expenses
if related to a specific program or project, in furtherance of providing advocacy,
education, vocational, or other areas of particular impact to people with psychiatric
and/or developmental disabilities. This includes full scale advocacy and education
where there currently is a void for this population
