Welcome! We are glad you are interested in taking classes at Winthrop University. South Carolina residents who are age 60 and older who are not employed full-time may attend Winthrop University for credit or non-credit purposes on a "tuition-free", space-available basis. These students will need to pay any lab fees associated with courses. Senior citizens participating in this program will be permitted to register for classes when the semester begins, and can only enroll in classes where there are open seats available.
The Resource Center for Adult Students is the first stop for Senior Citizens who are considering taking classes at Winthrop. You can contact the director of the Resource Center at 803/323-4784 or stop by room 108 in Dinkins Hall. Below is additional information about Graduate studies at Winthrop University.
