Job Title: Archiving Assistant
Job Description: The successful candidate of this work study position will document, collect, organize, and preserve current and past records within the department. The records maintained will consist of various forms, such as documents, newspaper clippings, photographs, digital files or physical objects produced by students and faculty in the Department of Fine Arts.

The main responsibility will be to create a digital archive of events, community outreach, research, awards, successful students and alumni, exhibitions, portfolio reviews, special projects, and other successes for the purpose of historic preservation, annual reports, assessment and promotion of the department. The successful candidate will also be responsible for updating our website with current and past events.
Specific Skills: While it is desirable that the candidate has digital skills and experience with scanning, photographing, design skills and basic web development (Word Press/ Weebly), we are also willing to train the candidate so that they can perform these tasks.
