My name is Gabrielle Walker and I am super excited to be apart of this Eagle STEM
cohort. I am from Columbia, SC and graduated from Ridge View High School in the Institute
of Health Sciences magnet program. There at Ridge View, I was a part of the Girls
Tennis team, played violin in orchestra and was a part of numerous honor societies
and clubs. I am very excited to be here at Winthrop and I am currently majoring in
Biology with a concentration in Biomedical Research. As of right now, my future plans
are to do a dual doctoral program where I get my Doctorate in Physical Therapy and
my PhD to conduct research in genetic diseases.
