My name is Beyonce' Simmons. I am from Summerville, South Carolina. My major is
Chemistry. After undergraduate, I would like to attend a graduate program for Pharmacology.
I graduated from Ashley Ridge High School in Summerville, SC. I graduated with a
4.0 grade point average and was in the top twenty percent of my graduating class.
I was an active member of Relay for Life, Black History Club, Ashley Ridge High Student
Council, National Honor Society of High School Scholars, and the National Science
Honor Society. Additionally, I was an active member within my high school's HOSA
chapter for Public Health. In 2018, myself and six other individuals won first place
in the State Leadership Conference, which allowed us to compete in the International
Leadership Conference in Dallas, TX. Currently at Winthrop University, I am a member
of the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and a Winthrop Ambassador.
