My name is Bria Jones and I am a senior and a Chemistry major and Spanish minor here
at Winthrop University. I am from Baltimore Maryland but decided to come to Winthrop
because of all the wonderful benefits the Eagle STEM program offered me. I am an honors
student and a sprinter on Winthrop's Indoor and Outdoor Track Team. I also did track
in high school along with a variety of other sports including basketball, gymnastics
and volleyball. I love to dance and therefore strived to be the best president of
my high schools hip hop team as well as the best member of my high schools repertory
dance ensemble that I could be. I love to laugh, I always enjoy a good riddle, and
I am looking forward to studying abroad. I'm hoping all of these qualities will make
my time here at Winthrop the best years of my life.
