IMAGINE CIRCUS is a booking and production company providing performances and shows that feature circus and cirque-style entertainment, aerial dancers, acrobatics, fire performers, jugglers, mimes, stilt walkers, belly dancers, sideshow acts, LED performers and more.

Headphone Disco 

Headphone Disco, is bringing the Silent Disco Experience to Winthrop. A silent disco is an event where people dance to music listened to on wireless headphones. Rather than using a speaker system, music is broadcast via a radio transmitter with the signal being picked up by wireless headphone receivers worn by the participants. Those without the headphones hear no music, giving the effect of a room full of people dancing to nothing.

Convocation Picnic w/Sandstorm DJs and novelties 

 Churches, civic organizations and student groups will provide information on opportunities to get involved on campus and in the Rock Hill community, along with a great picnic supper.
Listen to music by the DJ and create your own street sign and customizable notebook

Cards Against Hypnosis

Cards Against Hypnosis Show is an interactive; laugh out loud, drop-to-your knees funny, comedy hypnosis show! In between each skit David will throw a ball in to the crowd in which a random audience member who catches the ball will be shown 2 large cards. First is a black card with a scenario/skit, followed by a white card with possible outcomes. Based on the audience members’ decision that skit will be performed by the hypnotized participants on stage..

Leroy Sanchez

Leroy Sanchez Live 

Sanchez was born in Abetxuko, Vitoria, Spain, where he taught himself to play guitar. At the age of 15, Sanchez uploaded his first cover song on YouTube, and his videos have since received more than 400 millions views and over 3.5 million subscribers. In 2010 Sanchez met producer Jim Jonsin, who brought him to Miami.

Chase Anthony

Comedy Night featuring Chase Anthony & Morgan Jay

DSU closes Welcome Week with an event featuring Morgan Jay and Chase Anthony. Morgan Jay is a performer based out of Los Angeles. Originally from New Jersey, he started his career in NYC where he attended the NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Morgan is a skilled stand up comedian and musician who can be seen serenading audiences with his sultry musical comedy.

Chase Anthony is a comedian whose style interjects a unique perspective on life, relationships, and also deals with some tough topics.  For the last two years, Chase has traveled the country as opening act for the legendary comedian Sinbad. He's also been on hit television shows like Lethal Weapon and Grey’s Anatomy.
