The money from this scholarship provided me with the opportunity to attend Winthrop University, my number one college choice. While at Winthrop I was able to pursue my dream career of becoming a middle school drama teacher. Ever since I was in middle school, I have dreamed of inspiring theatre students to develop a passion for theatre as my middle school teacher did for me.
