Eva Roberts holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in product design/visual design from the North Carolina State University School of Design. With more than 20 years of design education experience, Roberts previously served as chair of the visual communication design department at the Herron School of Art + Design at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI). She has taught at the Museum School in Boston, Massachusetts, UMass/Dartmouth and is professor emeritus at East Carolina University School of Art and Design. Her career includes projects that range from wayfinding and environmental graphics to identity and publication design. While teaching at ECU, Roberts spent five years as art director of North Carolina Literary Review, an academic journal honored for being among the first to bring contemporary design to this genre. Her design work can be seen in numerous books and journals and has been recognized by AIGA, Print Magazine and the American Center for Design, among others.
