Faculty & Staff Profiles

O'Neill, flutist, teaches flute and directs the Winthrop Flute Ensemble. She is an active performer in the greater Charlotte, N.C., area, and she is the creator/faculty coordinator of the popular Halloween Arts Ball on campus. O'Neill has taught at York Technical College and performed in numerous Shakespeare Carolina productions. Along with music faculty member Seth Miller, O'Neill won "Outstanding Sound Design" and "Outstanding Original Musical Composition" at the Seventh Annual Metrolina Theatre Association awards ceremony for their collaboration on Shakespeare Carolina's production of Macbeth in June 2010.

She is married to Chris, who works as technical director/facilities manager for the Department of Music.
