Anne M. Fiala is a maker and educator living in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is currently the Assistant Professor of Fine Arts in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design and Digital Modeling at Winthrop University and the Chair of the Exhibition Planning Committee for the Society of North American Goldsmiths.

She received a B.F.A. in Industrial Design and a B.F.A. in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and received her M.F.A. in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design from Indiana University Bloomington.

In her work, Anne relies on instinct, process, and materials to create objects about memory and emotion. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally including 80x80 at the Mint Museum and has been included in various publications such as Humor in Craft and Lark Books 500 Plastic Jewelry Designs and Showcase 500 Art Necklaces.
