Joshua Johnson completed his undergraduate degree here at Winthrop University in Special Education, Multiple & Severe Disabilities. During his time as an undergraduate, he worked as a peer mentor for the Winthrop Think College Program. Upon completing his undergraduate degree, Joshua has worked for multiple Inclusive Post-secondary Education (IPSE) programs across the nation in various roles. During his professional experience at the University of Northern Colorado, he spent his time working with students to find meaningful and competitive employment in the community and build statewide collaborations with universities and adult agencies to increase the accessibility of IPSE programs throughout the state. 

Joshua spends his time on-campus continuing to support college students with disabilities in achieving their lifelong goals of independence, employment, and social integration through his work with the Winthrop Think College program. One of the joys of his professional work is seeing students naturally included in on-campus activities and events.
