Winthrop University: Center for Career and Civic Engagement - About Career Development

About Career Development

CCE's Career Development provides resources and programs for students and alumni to develop the necessary skills to conduct effective career searches and make informed career decisions. Services include career guidance, professional development workshops, résumé critiques, mock interviews, internship assistance, employment fairs, and an employment databank, EAGLElink, where students and alumni can search for part time, internships, full time or volunteer opportunities.

Career Development also works with employers in the Charlotte, N.C., metro area and beyond to assist with promoting and recruiting relevant students for positions posted on EAGLElink and to host on campus info sessions or interviews. We welcome employers to Winthrop's campus for four career fair events each year.
