Stephanie J. Lawson, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Winthrop University. She earned her B.A. in Communication, MBA and Ph.D. from Florida State University. Her research interests include collaborative consumption, access-based services, sustainability and Native American issues in marketing. Her research has appeared in the Journal of Business Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and Marketing Letters among others. She has ten years of professional experience in marketing management and research in the healthcare, transportation, and retail industries. Stephanie was awarded the 2019 Outstanding Junior Faculty Award from Winthrop University. She was also a 2010 AMA Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium Fellow and awarded the 2013 Suffolk University Outstanding School of Business Faculty Award, 2019 Winthrop CBA Service Award and 2015 Winthrop CBA Research Award. Stephanie is a member of the PhD Project Marketing Ethnic Faculty Association and has presented her research at AMA, ACR, SMA, PhD Project Annual Conference, Frontiers, and the Southeast Marketing Symposium.
