Description: Biological swarms such as insect societies are amazingtly robust and adaptable.  Dr. Annie Wu examines the role of inter-agent variation on swarm coordination with a goal of improving task allocation in decentralied computational swarms.  Potential applications include the ability to distribute resources and agents more robustly and more efficiently.
