ZaDonna Slay is the MSW Admissions Coordinator for the Department of Social Work at Winthrop University. Prior to her role at Winthrop, she worked as a non-profit administrator for 10 years in Savannah, Georgia in the areas of child welfare and youth development. Her past roles included Executive Director of Savannah/Chatham CASA and Executive Director/CEO of the West Broad Street YMCA. Her focus areas are in community development with a concentration on the well-being of youth. Ms. Slay has served as a field supervisor and field liaison. Additionally, she has teaching experience in introductory to social services, and policy and practice in child/family advocacy. She teaches BSW and MSW courses for the Department of Social Work.
