Faculty & Staff Profiles

Mrs. Phillips teaches BIOL 151 and 203, though her main role on campus is working for the Department of Residence Life as a Residential Learning Coordinator and Academic Associate for Wofford Hall. She is a three-time graduate of Winthrop and loves working for her alma mater and sharing her love of science with students. As a student herself in the biology department, Phillips studied circadian rhythm development in chickens, as well as metacognitive techniques for science education. In her free time, she enjoys walking her dog on campus, baking, and beekeeping.
