Professor Alexander is originally from Florida but has lived in the Rock Hill area for 30 years. He has undergraduate degrees in both English and Philosophy, with a focus on Religious Studies.

He completed the M.A. program at Winthrop and particularly enjoyed Critical Literary Theory and Joseph Conrad.

His interests lie in 20th Century American lit, Literature of Science, and World Religions. His classes focus on three Pillars:  Critical Writing, Critical Reading, and Critical Thinking.
