General call for applications: The College of Arts & Sciences at Winthrop University
seeks part-time (adjunct) instructors. Successful candidates must have a
Master’s degree and a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the field of
instruction, be eligible to work in the United States, and successfully clear a
background check. Previous teaching experience is strongly preferred. A variety of
teaching schedules are available, including evening, hybrid, and occasional online courses. Pay depends upon qualifications.
To apply, please send a letter of interest, curriculum vita or resume, graduate
transcript, and evidence of teaching effectiveness to email@example.com. Applications are accepted
on a rolling basis, and department chairs will then contact qualified applicants when a specific need arises. Please note that Education and Business courses are delivered by other colleges at Winthrop, so we do not hire the instructors for those courses.
