Registration for ArtsBridge closes on April 28, 2023. REGISTER HERE TODAY!

About:

Winthrop’s ArtsBridge program is 100% grant funded, residential immersive arts learning experience held June 10- June 17, 2023, for teachers and sponsored students from their campus.

*Sponsored students must be rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors.

ArtsBridge students will earn university credit for a unique course that includes intensive, workshop-style instruction in dance, drama, music, design and visual art with Winthrop faculty, who are all professional practicing artists and designers, giving students a true college classroom and studio experience. For ArtsBridge teachers, it is a rare opportunity to receive continuing education credits to explore the value of learning in the arts, experience and develop a studio-mindset to accelerate project-based learning potential in their own classroom; not to mention unlocking their own personal creative confidence.

Cost:

All costs, including instruction, on-campus housing, and food have been generously provided by Arts Grow SC, which is funded by the South Carolina Arts Commission and the South Carolina Department of Education through American Rescue Plan Elementary and Secondary Schools Emergency Relief (ARP ESSER) funds. Note: Priority is given to (in the following order) SCDE’s Priority High Schools, High Schools located in SCAC’s Priority Counties, or High Schools with a poverty index of 50% or more. Please share this opportunity with your high school educators as promotional materials are still “in development.”
