Major: Modern Languages
My name is Jamilynn Flores and I am a senior from Aiken, South Carolina. I am majoring
in Modern Languages with a connection in Spanish and a minor in French. Here at Winthrop,
I have been involved with numerous things including the Ambassadors program, Trio
Leadership Counsel and Trio Orientation counselor. Now, I serve as the Vice President
of Alpha Omega and I'm heavily involved with Baptist Collegiate Ministry.
Coming to Winthrop has been one of the best decisions I've made. I have met so many people that have impacted my life in incredible ways. It has been a continuous path of growth. The Winthrop campus is the perfect size for me, and it has such a wonderful sense of community. I love the small class sizes because I am able to get to know my professors and my classmates fairly well. Winthrop has offered me more than I could ever ask for.
