Instructions for Adding Video

Adding Video
The process for adding video to a course is identical to adding other file formats in WebCT. In order to organize multiple videos, it is best to first create a content module and then add the videos to that content module

Adding Video to Content Module

  • Click on the Content Module you wish to add video to
  • In the Actions column under Options: Table of Contents, click Add File
  • To add a file already in the My Files folder, select the file, and click Add.
  • If you wish to upload a file from your computer, click Browse
  • Under Upload File and next to Filename, click Browse
  • Locate the file on your computer and click Open
  • Next to Upload To, select My Files, and click Upload
  • Once the file is uploaded, click Add Selected
  • Click Add
  • The file should now be listed in your content module
  • Add an appropriate title and mention the video format

*Click Update Student View when you add content to a module. Otherwise, the students will not be able to view the module. See Updating Student View.
