Instructions for
Uploading Class Roster Photos into WebCT
- Go to
http://www.winthrop.edu/system/photoid
- Enter your Windows user name and
password, and click Logon
- Select Print PhotoID's for your
Course Rosters
- Select the course number
- Next to Display Images, select as
50% of actual size
- Click Submit Request
- When your student roster pages opens,
click Edit, Select All, and then Edit,
Copy.
- Open a new blank file in an html
editor such as FrontPage, DreamWeaver, or GoLive and select Edit,
Paste.
- Save the newly created html to your
hard drive
- Open your WebCT course and create a
new content module by clicking Add page or tool under
Options: Links.
- Under Course Content Tools, click
Content Module
- Enter an appropriate title such as
“Class Photos”
- Decide where to show the link to this
item
- Decide whether you wish to you use the
default icon or one of your choosing
- Click Add
- Click on your newly created content
module icon and under Options: Table of Contents,
click Add Files.
- Click Browse
- Under Upload File, click
Browse again
- Locate the course roster file on your
hard drive and click Open
- Next to Upload to: select an
appropriate folder to upload your file to and click
Upload
- Click Add Selected
- Click Add
- If you wish to change the name of the
title, you can click Edit Title
- Once you have changed the title, click
Update
- Next, you'll need to update the
student view. On the Table of Contents Page under
Options: Content Module, click Update Student View
- Select Update changes to text, colors, and action
menu
- Click Update
Your class roster photos should now
appear when you click on the photo icon and click on the title
of the file.
