To Override a Quiz Grade

If you need to change a student's grade for a given quiz, you can manually override it in the following way:

• Click on the Control Panel

• Click on Manage Course

• Click on Manage Students

• Locate the quiz you wish override the grade for and click Submissions link directly beneath the quiz title

• Locate the row corresponding to the student record you wish to edit

• Click on the hyperlink in the column titled No.

• Go to the bottom to the screen, and next to Quiz score adjustment, enter the new score for that quiz

• Click Update Grade if you wish to change an existing grade, or Submit Quiz if you are entering a grade for the first time

If you click Reset Attempt, it will reset the quiz as if the student had never taken it.

The method outlined above can also be used to override scores for specific quiz questions.
