McLaurin houses the administrative offices and the Edmond D. Lewandowski Gallery on the main floor. Many events and receptions are held here in the main space of the gallery. The second and third floor of McLaurin is the home of faculty and student offices and studios.

The Rutledge building houses the main art facilities at Winthrop University. Each floor is dedicated to a specific area and majors within the CVPA curriculum. 24-hour accessibility to the building allows students the opportunity to work as their schedule allows.
