Jeannie Woods announced the names
and projects of CVPA faculty who were awarded grants this
year from the Winthrop Research Council.

Dean Svedlow
acknowledged Ron Parks, music faculty member, who is one of eight American
composers selected next year
to receive the Aaron Copeland Residency Award.
3.
Ian Pearson and trumpet students -
Dean Svedlow also commended Don Rogers, Chair of Music, for completing his Ph.D.
Dr. Ian Pearson led a group of music students in a musical tribute in
honor of Dr. Rogers.
