We now have a Rock Hill Chamber Orchestra
after several years of it being disbanded
The Music Department will offer
more than 50 music performances this semester

Entering Benedictions
into the Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Festival.
Benedictions will be at
the state festival (SC
Theatre Association Festival). If the judges like it,
we could be invited to the
regional festival in Savannah, GA.
The Amy Marshall Dance Company
will be in residence here in October through a Winthrop
University Research Grant.
V. Mentor/Protégé
Program – Dr. Jeannie Woods,
Associate Dean
Designed to assist
junior faculty members in the tenure/promotion process.
Additionally, the
CVPA Mentor/Protégé
Program will offer guidance to CVPA faculty
mentors.
First meeting is
Friday, September 13th in 308 Tillman Hall.

) VII. Revision of CVPA By-Laws
The
office of the Dean made a motion to make two changes in the CVPA By-Laws:
1. The chair
of the CVPA Petitions Committee will be the CVPA Student Services
Coordinator,
instead of the CVPA Associate Dean
2. The Chair of the CVPA Graduate Faculty Committee will be
the CVPA Director of the
Graduate Program, instead of the CVPA Associate
Dean
The motion passed unanimously
