      - An offer has been made to a new Jewelry/Metals candidate to replace Alf Ward who is retiring in May.

 - In the process of two searches for voice and piano faculty to replace the retiring Eugene Barban
   and Jerry Helton.

 - Foundation Scholarship Reception - Sunday, April 23 at 2 p.m. in Johnson Lobby
 - CVPA Graduation Reception - Friday, May 5 at 6:30 p.m. - place TBD

o       ABC Project – Christine Fisher
 - 650 arts and classroom teachers will participate in 17 ABC Project summer institutes this
   summer

o       Winthrop Galleries – Tom Stanley
 - Next academic year exhibitions will include Force of Nature an exhibition which includes 10
   artists from Japan working in the United States for 6 weeks at various arts institutions
   including Winthrop Galleries.

o       Curriculum Information
- The CVPA Curriculum Committee has approved curriculum for a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Design, a cross-disciplinary degree housed in the College of Business which includes classes in Mass Communication, Computer Science, Marketing, and Art & Design (Visual Communication Design).
- By Monday the Curriculum should be e-mailed to CVPA Faculty and a copy will be available in the Departmental offices for faculty to review.

          the Theatre Education Search has ended with the acceptance of the position by Stephen
          Gundersheim.
