Students Giving Back to Winthrop In an effort to engage students in supporting Winthrop’s Loyalty Fund, the Development Office has created the Go Gold for Life program, which replaces the Senior Gift campaign. Students are asked to make small gifts to support initiatives, such as student scholarships, faculty awards, and the Alumni Association. During this academic year, students who make a contribution will be entered in the Claim to Fame challenge, a once-in-a-lifetime chance to have their favorite sandwich named after them on campus. Students who participate in Go Gold for Life ensure that Winthrop continues to attract excellent students and maintains its positive academic reputation.
