RESOLUTION
TO HONOR LARONDA MEESHAY SANDERS FOR MERITORIOUS SERVICE TO
WINTHROP UNIVERSITY
WHEREAS, LaRonda Meeshay Sanders, a native of Greenwood, SC, has served
as Student Assistant in the Office of the President of Winthrop
University since September 2000; and
WHEREAS, the English major has been an outstanding student, as reflected
by repeated recognition on both the President's List and Dean's List
while at Winthrop University and by her admission to several outstanding
graduate degree programs; and,
WHEREAS, she has contributed to her campus community in numerous ways,
including service as a member of the Council of Student Leaders, the
College of Arts & Sciences Dean's Advisory Council, and as president of
the Literary Society; and
WHEREAS, she has been a reliable and dedicated member of the team in the
President's Office, providing support and assistance to the work of the
President and the Board of Trustees in unsung but vital ways;
THEREFORE LET IT BE RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees of Winthrop
University gratefully acknowledges the contributions of LaRonda Meeshay
Sanders and presents to her today this citation as a testament to her
longstanding commitment and service to her alma mater.
