Resolution
Regarding Contract Extension
for President Anthony J. DiGiorgio
WHEREAS, in accordance with Board Bylaws the Executive Committee
met in Executive Session on May 31, 2000 to conduct the annual
performance review of the President of Winthrop University as
mandated by the State Agency Head Salary Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Executive Committee reviewed the
responses to the State Agency Head Performance Survey submitted
by the individual Trustees and reviewed the status of the
President's contract; and
WHEREAS, in Executive Session the Executive
Committee concluded that its recommendation to the full Board of
Trustees is that President DiGiorgio's existing contract, which
expires June 30, 2002, be extended for one year to an expiration
date of June 30, 2003.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF WINTHROP UNIVERSITY that President DiGiorgio's
existing contract, which expires June 30, 2002, be extended for
one year to an expiration date of June 30, 2003.
