Recycling

Common Items

  • Aluminum and steel cans
  • Mixed office paper (magazines, newspaper, books, etc.)
  • Plastics with numbers 1-7 (no styrene)
  • Shredded paper (keep separate from mixed office paper)

Note: Waste is material that will be sent to the landfill and is not recyclable.

Recycling - West Center Recycling

Please take a look at the printable poster (pdf - 2.8 MB) that you can hang in offices and/or workrooms to help remind folks about what items to recycle.

Recycling bins are located in residence halls and academic buildings. As well, collection stations can also be found outside several academic buildings. You can find the locations by viewing this map (pdf - 4 MB).
