Michelle Wolf acquired her B.S. in Biology at Florida Southern; she minored in Secondary Education. Noticing her true calling, Mrs. Wolf got her Master of Education in Student Personnel/Higher Education Administration from the University of South Carolina. She has worked in higher education for over 18 years. Some of the schools Mrs. Wolf has worked at, other than Winthrop University, include the University of Virginia, Brevard College, and the University of South Carolina. She is passionate about working with students who want to be “the best student that he/she can be.” Mrs. Wolf enjoys developing freshmen and sophomores into student leaders. She is the mother of two beautiful children and two canines. Her favorite band is, without question, The Steel Wheels (www.thesteelwheels.com). Mrs. Wolf is a log cabin enthusiast and enjoys spending time outdoors in the Northeast Georgia Mountains. Developing the Academic Success Center from scratch is something that she is proud of because she believes in devoting her time to helping students succeed academically.

Kim Howard graduated ‘summa cum laude' from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Experimental Psychology. She recently graduated with a Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina in May of 2014. While in graduate school, Kim served as the Graduate Assistant for the Capstone Scholars Program, managed the Capstone Ambassador Program, co-instructed University 101 (a first-year seminar course), and advised students as a practicum student with the Office of Cross College Advising. She also held a NODA internship during the summer of 2013 at Montclair State University. Kim is passionate about assisting students and empowering them to become active participants in their own educational opportunities! Outside of work, she enjoys running, hiking, photography, and exploring the city of Charlotte.
Having joined the office in August 2014, Ms. Howard is excited to be part of the Academic Success Center team to help students find their true academic potential.
