Peer Tutors
Peer Tutors are hired by the Center to help students with specific courses that do not have dedicated campus services already in place, such as the Writing Center, Math Tutorial Center, and the College of Business Resource Room. The peer tutors are recommended by faculty and participate in training sponsored by the ASC. The Academic Success Center's Tutor Training Program is College Reading and Learning Association International Tutor Training Program Certified in both Level I and Level II as of May 2012.

How To Receive a Tutor
In order to receive a tutor, you must attend a Tutee Seminar. The Tutee Seminar is held every Friday at 2 pm in Dinkins Auditorium. The last Tutee Seminar during the Spring 2013 semester will be held on March 22, 2013. If you are unable to attend any of the seminars, please stop by the ASC to find out alternatives to attending the seminar. You are only required to attend one Tutee Seminar per academic year, so the ASC encourages students to attend one in the Fall semester for the opportunity to utilize a tutor for the entire academic year.

The ASC offers tutoring for the following courses this semester:
