Description of Organization:  Winthrop Association of Family and Consumer Sciences, WINAFACS, is organized to improve the quality and standards of individual and family life through programs that influence and educate. WINAFACS prepares professionals for family life, work life, and careers in Family and Consumer Sciences by providing opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors to improve and enhance the quality of life for all people. WINAFACS members share a commitment to achieving optimum well-being for families and individuals.
