Purpose of Organization:  To raise money for the American Cancer Society and to increase cancer awareness.
Description of Organization:  Relay For Life is a fundraiser put on by the American Cancer Society. All the money raise goes to help with cancer research and any program offered by the American Cancer Society for cancer patients. The actual event is an all night walk held at Dinkins Lawn that goes from 5pm to 5am. There are tons of teams that set up tents and walk the whole night and entertainment is provided as well.
