Purpose of Organization:  To develop and encourage the practice of high standards of personal and professional conduct among educators.
Description of Organization:  PSTA was organized in 1976 to give educators in South Carolina a choice. We believe that every child in South Carolina has the right to a free, uninterrupted, quality education.
Planned Projects/Events:  Male Teacher Institute: October 20, 2012 at the PSTA office (2015 Assembly Street, Columbia SC 29201) from 10am - 1pm; 2013 Annual Convention: April 20, 2013, the convention will be held at Lexington Municipal Convention Center (111 Maiden Lane, Lexington, SC 29072).
