Purpose of Organization:  To assist Multicultural Student Life with planning and coordinating programs to promote an inclusive community amongst Winthrop students. MSC will serve as a programming board and assist MSL with monthly activities and events. There will be a program coordinator for each event who will work with their specific committee to create a successful, inclusive celebration.
Description of Organization:  The Multicultural Student Council operates as a programming board, working to provide the student community with programs and events that support a just and inclusive university. Our objective is to make available to the Winthrop University student body opportunities for participation in activities and events that enhance their awareness of diversity, encouraging them to learn more about themselves and others.
Planned Projects/Events:  Kwanzaa Celebration MLK Celebration Asian Lunar New Year Women's Achievement Celebration International Peace Day LGBT History Jeopardy
