Description of Organization:  The society as a community of scholars pledged to worthy ideals 1) Recognizes scholarship and excellence in education, 2) Promotes the development and dissemination of worthy educational ideas and practices, 3) Enhances the continuous growth and leadership of its diverse membership, 4) Fosters inquiry and reflection on significant educational issues, and 5) Maintains a high degree of professional fellowship.
