Purpose of Organization: The Association of Ebonites founded by minority students promotes black awareness by providing services to enhance the educational, cultural, and social development of Winthrop University and the Rock Hill community.
Description of Organization: The oldest and largest student association body on campus that is comprise of serveral sub-organizations such as the Ebonite Gospel Choir, Comtemporary Hip Hop Dance Team, CORE ( an event planning committe), Praise Dance Team (VOZ) and Community Service.
Planned Projects/Events: Adopt-a-Highway, Shoe box Christmas, Winthrop Idol, Voter Registration, and much more
