Description of Organization: Founded in 1959, the American Choral Directors Association is a nonprofit music-education organization whose central purpose is to promote excellence in choral music through performance, composition, publication, research, and teaching. ACDA is open to all choral music education majors or music minors. Membership is $30 annually and the chapter meets once a month. Your membership fee includes: all rights and privileges into the organization, the monthly Choral Journal, and a membership card. Activities include: music, workshops, festivals, dinner and concerts.
