Brief Description of GA Position:
The Residence Life Graduate Associate for Residential Services will assist the Associate Director of Residence Life with general business systems related to contract execution and customer service. He or she will be responsible for: .1. Assist with correspondences to prospective, admitted, and current students and parents from web contact.
2. Coordinate marketing research project by administering national longitudinal survey.

Assist with customer service related to cable television, student furniture,
laundry services, and
MicroFridges. Includes effective
communication with other university departments and vendors.
4.
Coordinate repair of student MicroFridges cable TV, student furniture,
cafeteria equipment, and department
utility equipment (such as cell phones and
golf carts).
5. Assist with research in procurement procedures and activities.
6. Oversee technology equipment sign-out process.
7. Coordinate cable close-circuit movie channel operation.
8. Assist with technology purchases.
9. Assist with technology maintenance.
10. Assist with maintenance of housing management software system.
11. Assist with web page maintenance.
12. Upkeep of Excel files and Access databases, including data manipulation, retrieval and research.
13. Assist in creation of new Access database.
14. Other general duties as assigned
Must possess excellent communication skills. Must be Proficient in MS Word, Excel and FrontPage. Experience with Access desired. Residence Life experience desired.
MBA student preferred. This position provides a great way to gain “real world” marketing and business experience.
