Brief Description of GA Positions:

The position of graduate associate for Clubs and Organizations is designed to help create and facilitate a thriving out of class learning environment.  The position helps advise and instruct student groups and assists with the support and development of leadership opportunities for Winthrop’s students within their co-curricular activities.  

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and implementing major leadership initiatives
• Facilitate workshops on core topics for student organizations
• Assist in the planning and implementation of required educational programming of all registered organizations at the beginning of each semester to prepare them for the year
• Update handbook for student organizations and advisors
• Maintain Leadership Bank resources
• Assist with assessment efforts
• Maintain a list of the organizations’ contact person and their advisors
