GA for Intramural Sports

PURPOSE: To assist the Coordinator of Intramurals with the daily operations of the intramural sports program.

REPORTS TO: Coordinator of Intramurals

QUALIFICATIONS: Must have previous campus recreation experience.  Working with officials is preferred. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with coordination/supervision of the overall Intramural program.

• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling and evaluating sports officials in various team sports.

• Assist with the annual evaluation and revision of sports rules, policies and procedures associated with the administration of the Intramural Sports program.

• Assist in the coordination and implementation of safety and risk management procedures.

• Plan and implement certain special events.

• Maintain/update IM schedules and website.

• On site supervision of IM events on nights/weekends.

• Marketing of intramural programs, flyers, brochures, etc.

• Other duties as assigned.

SALARY: $3,600 yearly stipend and full tuition (Fall & Spring Semester).
